My dryer/front loader washing machine is filling with water, the dial is moving but not spinning. It proceeds to drain and is finished in a matter of minutes. What could be wrong?? Update (09/20/2021) Frigidaire model GLGH1642FS2
Hi @rebeccachipman, Does the washer spin, if you turn the cycle selector knob to the spin position? If it doesn’t spin and it doesn’t agitate either, check that the drive belt is OK and not broken etc. If the belt needs to be replaced search online for Frigidaire 134051000 to find suppliers that suit you best. If the belt is OK here’s a link to the service manual for the washer/dryer. I couldn’t find a free one online but it may be quicker and easier to get a manual so that the diagnostic tests can be done on the unit. The diagnostics will tell you more accurately what the problem is.
