My Kenmore 110 series washer starts agitating before adding water when you first start a load. At the end of the load it adds water after it is finished spinning.
I would have to say. Check your pressure switch from the looks of the machine. It’s probably going to be in the back panel. And there will be A tube connected to the bottom of the washer and 2 the pressure switch. That switch controls your water. If it’s stuck. The washer thinks it’s full. And start agitating. Should be relatively simple to replace? But not necessarily simple to get too. Depending on manufacturer of washer.
