Hello everybody and hope you are well in this new year. My new year started by my TV dying on me. It’s far from dead though. Here’s the breakdown: TV screen just went off while I was playing my console game. There is a backlight, there is sound, there is Netflix and everything running in the backdround. Green and red lights work. The remote works. This leads me to think that there could be an issue outside the mother board. I suspect a T-Con board could be at fault here? Does this generally speaking sound like a t-con issue?
@ggatman could be a T-con board as well as a main board issue. Let us know what the exact model of your TV is. Check the fuse on the T-con board and see what voltage you get on it. Should be around 12V.
