Sorry but my tv is a Insignia brand. It wasn’t on the dropdown menu. When the tv is turned on the picture lasts maybe 3 to 4 minutes then goes black but the sound is fine. The color and that is fine when the picture is on. I tried everything to try get the picture back.
This could be a power supply problem related to heat. Can you post the exact model number please? Also a picture of the modules inside would be helpful. Use the “flashlight” test to determine whether or not this is just a backlight issue (I suspect that it is). With a flashlight at an angle, look at the screen. If the back light is defective, you should see the picture on the screen dimly. Update this with the above and further guidance will be provided. Dan
