Hi, I wonder if anyone could help please? I have a Philips Android TV - pus6501/12 49” and it keeps boot-looping, as in when I first turn it on, the Philips logo shows up, followed by the Android logo and then it will keep returning to the start, very frustrating as there does not seem to be anything I can do at the moment. Every now and again, sometimes after a couple of hours of letting it do it thing, it will come back on and be ok for a few hours or until it has been off all night and turned back on in the morning, then starts all over again. I have reset it to factory settings and checked for any updates, all to no avail. I would really appreciate any help with this as I am stuck now. kind regards Graham Nash. Update (04/02/2020)
I have posted one picture but do I need to take the casing off the back of the tv? Thank you.
nasherg …. to troubleshoot this, youll want to have a multimeter and the ability to operate it. youll want to start with the power supply. id start with testing the connector that runs to your mainboard. there should be a legend that that indicates the voltages that should be present. they may be +/- a volt or two , but should be steady and not jumping around. measure these and if they are good, measure the connector to the main board and make sure it receiving those at a steady rate as well. next, do the same for the connector to the leds. post back with your findings for further assistance.
