My 1998 ford expedition will not start and now my anti- theft lite dus not come on I tried to put a code reader on it to see if there was any codes and the data plug dus not work I check all fuses on it and they are good soo can someone please help me
Hi Fjoe, I am not a mechanic by any means and this may be a long shot but I will share with you my experience. On my Lexus I had an issue with it not starting. Somehow the remote fob was set on valet mode. After figuring out how to reset it worked well. 2) On a friends vehicle there was a shutoff switch under the dashboard which I bumped and that turned off the remote start. Of course you checked the battery and different places to see if you have power ie: 4 way flashers, headlights, and so on. A long shot as I said but sometimes the simplest things cause a great deal of grief.
