Not only will my touchscreen not work, I have a screen filled with lines
The display cable or screen got damaged during the battery replacement. Possible causes: Screen was folded back and not disconnected during battery replacementToo much tension on the screen cablesDamaged screen connector or cables (note that these can still go bad if not handled properly). As long a the screen connectors are not physically damagerd a replacement screen will fix this.
