it doesn’t ‘go’ up immediately after i right-click it. it’s not a software issue or the Smart Gesture but it seems to be a hardware problem. i’m not sure why it’s like that but i know i have never dropped my 1.5 year-old laptop before. presently my fan can get quite loud at times and battery drains at a slightly faster rate. any help!!!? I replaced my motherboard recently because of some glitches but till then it’s been alright until today.

I suggest taking it to your local repair shop and have them do it as they are more experienced and know what they are dealing with.
