So my cousin has had a broken dsi for about 9 years. It wasn’t even possible to turn it on. When I tried turning it on I could have only seen a blink. But finally I decided to try fixing it(although I don’t know much about this). Firstly I took the battery off and put it back and surprisingly it turned on. But the top screen was kinda white, didn’t work as it should be. Is the dsi top screen damaged or some ribbon cable just disconnected? I attach some photos of the nintendo dsi here.

Thanks in advance.

It looks like so wires going to the top screen look damaged.
