My tablet keeps powering up but then shuts off and starts again. I can not get it to power off by holding the button. The only way to get it to power off is by letting the charge run out. Can this be fixed?
You might want to consider doing a full recover of your android OS before cracking open the tablet to check for electronic problems causing the conditions you describe. Check your Owners Manual (on the net) on how to access the Recovery Menu. Be warned that by implementing a Full Recovery you will lose access to any files that you have stored on the tablet (photos, songs, email etc etc) unless you access them and back them up. To try and save copies of those files to another medium (such as a flash or hard drive), the use of ADB might be able to faciliate the transfers. Search on Google, Youtube etc for more information on using ADB along with a computer to save your personal files.
