Chosen Solution
So my Samsung Galaxy’s Tab A’s screen was shattered. It was working even after the screen was shattered. But it stopped charging after a while. I changed the screen and battery but it’s still not charging. I have a portable charger that normally indicates when it’s discharging but when I use it to charge the tablet, it doesn’t indicate any discharge. My initial thought is that the charging connection was damaged, but I have no clue how to test it or fix it. Please help.
It looks like the charging port replacement will need to be soldered on. If you aren’t comfortable with this, there are services on that popular auction site that starts with an E that you can use. I have used a few of these companies in the past with success.
