The superdrive on my iMac refuses to read any discs that I put in. The drive accepts the disc, spins for a minute and then spits the disc back out. The disc won’t mount or show up on my desktop. I was wondering how I can get the disc to show up or if the superdrive is bad on the computer.
Personally I would go with an external DVD dual layer drive that will go to your next machine. If a firewire drive, your machine will boot from it.
