I’ve had my iPhone just over a month. Was checking an email from a company and flipped to their website and listened to a demo of some new guitar strings from a company called Elixir Strings. Some time afterward I noticed when I turned my phone on that the Screen Lock image I had selected was overridden by a webpage from this company. I looked at the page as it was scrolling the URL across the top of the phone and it was just a blank page with MP3 player with one second silent sound bite. It says at the bottom to press home to unlock, and it does unlock and otherwise work fine, but I just can’t find anyway to remove this irksome image. Resetting the screen lock doesn’t make any difference and the settings indicate the screen locks are what I selected. I’ve sent an email to the company asking if they have had similar complaints and if this is perhaps a hijack attempt but may be a day or two before I hear back. In the meantime if anyone has suggestions I’m all ears. Thanks. Scotty Henderson
Have you tried changing the wallpaper? This can be done by settings, wallpaper, choose a new wallpaper. Also try hard booting it by holding down the power and home button until you see the apple logo, when you see it release them. I hope this helps and good luck fixing!
