@Chef Essu Please verify the make and model of the speaker as there is no information online regarding the make and model number that you posted. Does it have any other audio input option e.g. 3.5mm stereo audio socket, Bluetooth etc, that you can try, just to see if the problem is related to the USB port or is something else? If the audio comes through the USB port then since you can make it play and not play by moving the USB cable slowly out it seems as thought there may be a problem with the USB port e.g. loose on the board, bent pins or perhaps some debris is in the port enclosure preventing a good electrical connection. Try using a magnifying glass and a strong light and visually inspect the USB port. Check that all the pins are there and that they are straight and parallel with each other. If there is any debris in the port enclosure, use a vacuum cleaner to try and remove it. Do not use a pin or probe as you may damage the pins. If the USB port seems OK try the following: Insert the USB cable into the speaker’s USB port only, do not plug the other end of the USB cable into anything! Firmly grab hold of the speaker in one hand and then grabbing the USB cable plug where it is inserted into the speaker with the other hand, gently try moving it up and down and side to side to check if there is any movement in the port. If so, it may be loose from the systemboard and require re-soldering to the board. If not, the speaker will have to be opened and further testing will be required to know what’s happening. Either way the speaker will have to be opened.
