After turning on the GBA, the screen goes blank but the sounds play. Games load and button input with the game works fine, so the game appears to run fine. The only problem is the video output. I swapped the screen for another one that I know works perfectly and the GBA shows the same issue no matter the screen, so it must be a damaged connector or something with the motherboard. Where should I start?
Hi Nan! I know that if the ribbon cable is not all in the connector, it can show the same issue you got now. Is it deep enough in the connector, for like 100% sure and locked? If yes, then I’m afraid you should replace the motherboard… Could be the connector or any other micro component which failed.
