So my phone’s screen won’t turn on, however the phone is on as it makes sound when you plug it into charge and appears on iTunes. I’ve tried force restarting it and all the basic solutions. I then took it to Apple and had the screen replaced and it fixed it for a week but then the issue reappeared. Next Apple told me to try resetting the phone and setting it up as a new iPhone, which again worked for a week then the same thing happened. Then a few days later the screen turned on after I tried a forced restart, however today the screen turned off again and a force restart no longer resolves it. Any ideas? Apple seem stumped.
Since the screen was replaced and still doesn’t work, it most likely isn’t the actual screen. Its a backlight issue on the back of the screen. That could either be from a hard enough drop, Water damage, or a fried backlight connector. To get it replaced it has to be sent to a lab and have the connecters be soldered again.
