My laptop screen turen blurry pink then green then it turn to pure white . If you put pressure it can fixed it but not permanent when you drop the force exerted it turn to blurry to white again . How to fix it?? Please I badly needed my laptop
Hi, What is the full model number of the laptop? Where are you exerting pressure to restore the image on the screen? If on the lid assembly somewhere (bezel below the screen or the hinges?) and not on the body of the laptop then it may be a fractured LVDS cable if pressing on the hinges, a faulty or loose LVDS cable connection to the display panel or a faulty connection in the LCD panel itself which would mean a LCD panel replacement. The laptop would have to be opened and the problem further diagnosed as to what exactly is wrong. In the meantime, try connecting an external monitor to the laptop and check if the display is OK on it. Even a TV can be used as an external monitor as long as it has HDMI inputs, and that you have an appropriate HDMI cable that can connect the two together. When connecting to a TV do not forget to switch the TV’s “source input” to the appropriate HDMI input connection and also to press and release the Fn + F5 keys (both on together) on the laptop to step the laptop’s video output on the laptop to the screen only, the external screen only or both screens on together
