Hello guys! My problem is this: My macbook has suffered damage in the lower right corner, which resulted in my screen with 3/4 horizontal lines of the LDC, the top part remaining normal. There was no cracking or anything, I did not take my computer to any assistance yet, but I talked to several on the phone and they all want to change my display, at an absurdly expensive price. Is there another option?
Hello Arthur, Unfortunately the whole LCD assembly needs to be replaced :( This repair is difficult for the average person and even the tech proficient. Once you fix it, I would definitely invest in a sturdy plastic case and a Moshi brand ivisor to protect the front. Sorry for the bad news.
