My screen is very cracked but I just need to replace my digitizer. Currently with the cracked screen, even if i don’t touch it it starts tapping and swiping by itself. When I replace the the digitizer will this continue to happen or not?
hello Michelle, we call that issue - ghost touches. It happens when touch layer of digitizer or touch driver (electronically) has a fault or short. Sometimes when horizontal and vertical lines of digitizer are crossing and touching mutually ( especially in the broken /splited/ ones ). In most cases, digitizer replacement usually solves the problem. regards,
