Even there is no display when connected to external screen using either HDMI or VGA slots. Is it possible that the graphics card is malfunctioning, can I change the graphics chip?? please advise
Yes, if you don’t get any image through the HDMI or the VGA connectors, it’s most likely you have a graphic chip problem. Sorry PS: It’s possible to rework the chip, but I don’t know if it’s a patch or a long term solution. In the other hand, you can look for a replacement motherboard. It’s a matter of price.
