I bought a screen for my SE and after i was done replacing and switching the screen the whole screen is black but I can still touch and turn it off manually with slide to power off I just can’t see it or anything else on the screen.
if you didnt disconnect the battery when replacing it chances are you have blown the backlight filter
When the repair was carried out, did you disconnect the battery. If you did not, it is likely you have fried the device. I would try fitting a new test screen, and if that does not fix the issue then it is a board problem.
