with a no turning on situation, youll want to ensure that there is indeed no power be supplied to the set. to acheive this, youll want to remove the back cover and check the outputs at the connector leading to your main board. with the device plugged in, but off…you should have your standby voltage on one of the pins labeled accordingly. (stby) if this is present, after hitting the power on button, you should then see your other voltages, 12v ,3.3 etc. on the other pins of that connector. if none of these are present, you can troubleshoot the power supply. if those are there, its something else. post back with your findings and some pictures of the interconnecting of your boards for further assistance.
