I purchased a RAM kit, 16GB. When I put both chips in the laptop will not boot up. However, if I put one old and one new chip in the laptop works giving me 10GB. I tried switching chips, inserting them in different locations both to no avail. Any help would be appreciated
it probably is that the ram sticks are different frequently, try taking one out.
