There was a thunder storm and I was on YouTube. When the storm started I turn my system off, about an Hour later a quick power surge happened while my PS4 was off…An Hour after that I tried to my system on and it won’t respond to anything I try. I tired to change power cords, change outlets, Tried to put it in safe mode I even plugged my PS3 with my power cord to make sure that my cord was working. HELLLLLLLP!!!!!
You probably just need a new power supply unit. They aren’t cheap but you can install it yourself if you are handy with a screwdriver :) There are a few different types so you will have to open it up to find out which one you need. The common models are ADP-240CR or ADP-240AR or ADP-200ER , etc. I don’t know if there is a way to tell which one you have without actually opening the console. You will need this guide to perform the repair :)
I just got a ps4 slim I plug in no power and I change cord and same no power or any beeps what is that anyone can help ?
