Hi there. I am from India. I purchased a ps4 yesterday and here the condition of light is not that great. I just want to ask that why the ps4 does not opens and swtuches on in the inverter power back up. All my devices start up up not the ps4. It switches off when it is electricity that spoils the whole fun. Please help me i dont wanna waste my money.
This issue is also flagged in PlayStation 4 Pro community. And I am facing the same problem.
Hi friend, wonder no one given an answer yet. So this is how I have a set up. I have connected my home to microtek inverter and then my Apc 600 ups then my PS4. So I have double battery back up and still PS4 switch off when current goes off. The problem is house inverter is not sine wave technology. How do you confirm this. Switch off the wall switch to which APC is connected and try switching on PS4 only with APC back up without home inverter. If it switch on go Change your digital inverter to sine wave. And continue gaming.
@joedk I purchased new APC 600va UPS and it’s connected to the switch but when the power goes off, my ps4 turns off. Is there any way I can fix it?
When the power switched off and our PlayStation is on. The virtualization in the switching off and on in the electricity harms our PlayStation motherboard very dangerously. Sometimes the AC when high our PlayStation motherboard cannot handle the circulation of current and it was shot down. I faced this problem and lost my previous PlayStation due to this problem.
Please ensure UPS is pure Sinewave rated. Generally In India they will provide Square wave UPS/ Inverter. Irrespective of the Voltage or Battery capacity the PS doesn’t work with this. Pure Sienwave UPS is a bit costlier to Square wave one. If you want to use PS4 then you need to invest on it.
What i did is i buy ups but i don’t use switch which have inverter power.. i use normal electricity one and when power cuts.. it switch to ups and that gives me 20-30 mins. If power didn’t come back then i save my game and turn off my ps4. When i use ups on inverter power then ups didn’t convert power and my ps4 turn off in a blink
