can i just resolder the connector onto the motherboard?
It’s a multilayer board so hopefully you haven’t damaged anything else. If the pad is still attached to that leg get solder all the way round it. It can be fixed if you know someone competent enough to do it. Look for instructions on repair damaged pads. http://www.instructables.com/id/Repairin…
