Chosen Solution
I tried to change my battery today and while the battery works, the phone only turns on when I charge it. There is no response when I press the home button or power button. what do you mean it doesnt have jumpers, iv read the thread but its components thats been knocked off from pry damage and your phone will have components in the same area, if you can disconnect the battery and take closeup photos of around the battery connector on the logic board
This happened to me because the adhesive from the battery tore my ribbon cable. Its under everything and annoying to replace. Idk Good Luck
