Biswajit Rana heat usually means a short circuit. I would try and attempt a reset first to rule out software issues. Something like this but be careful, it will delete all of your data. If that does not work, It is time to check your charger, charging cable and your charging port. Make sure you get the proper voltage and that your charging port is clean and has no obstruction, bend pins or corrosion. If all of that looks good, I would proceed next with a battery replacement. After that, re-evaluate the prior issues. Anything past that, points to board-level issues i.e. shortened components etc. It will be more difficult to troubleshoot. We will need to know exactly what model your Xiaomi is. Is it a Redmi Note 8 or a Mi 8? All attached guides are for the Mi 8
