So I’ve recently got an Instax Mini 90 Neo Classic and I got it in a pack (which had the camera straps and 3 packs of 10 of film). I used the film and I took a photo and it printed out with these purple dots.

I’ve cleaned the lens and the two holes near the lens (I forgot what those are called). I took another photo yet it still had the purple dots.

I don’t know if it is the film causing the problem or the actual camera itself. If anyone has been through this problem before and knows how to fix it or has an answer, please tell me.

Some of the chemical used in film may have leaked out and gotten on your rollers. You can simply use a little bit of cotton or a Qtip and go over them with some rubbing alcohol. Source: http://www.forgottencharm.com/trouble-sh

Ok so I bought an insta x mini 9 got it from amazon i took a couple pictures and it work and i took a picture and all this purple ink and green ink are coming from the bottom and it all white and i read a blog about this before and it say that expose to to much sun light so i went in a dark room took my picture shake it and the same thing happen again now i dont know what to do please help i would really appericate it rn.

You probably have some kind of substance on the camera rollers. The dots are caused by contamination making a “bump” on one of the rollers which is pinching the film everytime the roller rotates - like a lentil stuck on a rolling pin. You’ll need to clean the rollers, preferably with Isopropyl alcohol on a cotton bud.
